The actor addressed the fact that he took time to accept a new movie after Loafer and it further got delayed as Krish decided to work with another actor, Balakrishna over his script. He said the movie got delayed due to his leg injury due to a bone fracture. He took rest for more than 2 months before he resumed shooting for the movie.

During the time, he remembered that he was more worried about putting on weight and he worked out daily for few hours to keep himself in shape. After the bandage was removed he said he started physical exercises as well to get back into shape as soon as he could. He spent most of the time with his family and friends. He said Charan adviced him to not fall into the trap of trying to stand up for expectations rather try and do as many diverse subjects as possible. Charan gave him example of his movies after Magadheera.

Varun also said he found great friends on set in Lavanya and Rajesh, who took great care of him. He said he is happy with the movie and expects the film to be a successful one for him. He signed off by supporting his father, Naga Babu who publicly commented on Ram Gopal Verma about his tweets on Mega family and movies. He said, “Ram Gopal Verma is a great filmmaker but I don’t understand what pleasure does he get by doing so. One can say anything about films but the maker goes beyond that and my father stood for what is right. I stand by him and his words.”
