Allu Arjun’s Pushpa: The Rise marked the last release of a big film in Tollywood, and while RRR and Radhe Shyam were expected to be released in January 2022, the release of these movies got postponed due to the increasing number of coronavirus cases at that time.
After one and a half months now, the first major film to be released in theatres – barring Nagarjuna’s Bangarraju, which was released for Sankranthi but failed to become a good hit – is Ravi Teja’s Khiladi, which is scheduled to release on February 11th. The film has a very good buzz, and the songs of the film have also created a good impact among audiences.
This is Ravi Teja’s first release since last year’s Krack, which marked his comeback after several flops. Directed by Ramesh Varma, Tollywood producers are hoping that Khiladi will change things for the industry, which is currently going through a dry spell, and bring the theatre-going culture back with a bang.
