Tamil actor Vijay is currency busy shooting for director Vamshi Paidipally’s film in Hyderabad, which is a bilingual, marking the actor’s Telugu debut. THe film is being produced by Dil Raju, on a massive budget, with Vijay being paid Rs. 100 Crores as remuneration for the film.
It is now being said that the actor’s next film would be with director Lokesh Kanagaraj, with whom he collaborated with, for Master, previously. Master was received very well in Tamil Nadu, thanks to Vijay’s huge fanbase, and did pretty well in Telugu as well, mostly because of Vijay Sethuapthi, who was the antagonist of the film. If this news is to be believed, then it would mean that it would be a straight Tamil film, which would be dubbed into Telugu, as per usual.
Given that Vijay is currently a part of a bilingual, it does come as a surprise that the actor would want to go back to do straight films. However, it could also be that the film would translate into a bilingual, by the time the film goes on floors.
