Hero Varun Tej’s new film, Ghani commenced its regular shooting in the second half of 2020. Since then, the film’s shooting is being postponed repeatedly due to the pandemic.
Earlier this year, the makers have already announced that the film will have its theatrical release on July 30 but due to the widespread second wave of Covid-19, the film’s shooting halted once again. By looking at the current scenario, it is evident that the film is likely to skip the announced release day.
Now, the fresh news is that as more than forty percent of the shoot is left, the makers are planning to postpone the film’s release to the month of September if everything returns to normalcy in the next few months.
Being helmed by debutant Kiran Korrapati, Ghani has Upendra, Suniel Shetty in prominent roles. Young starlet Saiee Manjrekar is the film’s lead lady. Allu Bobby and Sidhu Mudda are producing the movie. Thaman is the music composer.
