Both Nani and Sudheer Babu did their best: “V” director

Natural Star Nani’s 25th film, “V” is releasing on 5th September, on Amazon Prime Video. Movie stars Sudheer Babu along with Nani in a powerful cop role. The director of the film, Indraganti Mohan Krishna talked to media about the film. He said, “The film has both my heroes – [Nani and Sudheer Babu] in equal roles and I have made sure that the story doesn’t suffer at all in balancing them. I always wanted to attempt such a different action genre film and this is next level film, for me.”

He further stated that Sammohanam film made him finalise on Sudheer Babu as his next hero and when he couldn’t think off no one else but Nani for other role, he pitched it to the actor. Nani accepted the role without suggesting any changes and that boosted his confidence. The director also stated that he never imagined this script with Mahesh Babu and Pawan Kalyan. He revealed that he fears to make movies with stars as he has to write scripts according to their image and market requirements. Which he believes he cannot do, at the moment.

He will announce full details about his next film after “V” release. He said that as a director he wanted the film to release in theaters and Nani also wanted the film to have theatrical release. But as the wait for theatres to open has been prolonged and they cannot ask producer Dil Raju to rake in losses, they both accepted for OTT release. Director praised Nivetha Thomas and said that her performance will be mind boggling. He thanked Aditi Rao Hydari for accepting a small but crucial role.
