Bollywood: Venky signs this project officially

A couple of weeks back we had reported that Tollywood hero Venkatesh is likely to be a part of Bollywood star Salman Khan’s new film. Meanwhile, the latest we hear from our sources is that Venky has officially signed the dotted lines of the agreement.

Reportedly, Venky has allocated twenty days for Salman Khan’s film, Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali and will start shooting for his part from August. Touted as a family entertainer, KEKD has Pooja Hegde as the female lead opposite Salman Khan.

Farhad Samji is the director for Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali and also stars Salman’s close friend Shehnaaz Gill in a key role. Inside reports say that Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali is loosely based on Tamil star Ajith’s 2014 hit, Veeram.
