Pawan Kalyan’s upcoming film, Bheemla Nayak, directed by Saagar K Chandra, is a remake of the Malayalam film, Ayyappanum Koshium. The script and the dialogues for the Telugu version have been written by director Trivikram Srinivas, and there are good expectations on the film, in which Rana Daggubati will be seen in a negative role.
Bheemla Nayak’s initial release plan was Sankrnathi 2022, but the film’s release got postponed to allow for the safe and comfortable release of RRR and Radhe Shyam, but both those films got postponed due to the increasing number of coronavirus cases at that time. Now, the film is scheduled to release on February 25th, while the film was initially supposed to release only in Telugu, it is now getting a simultaneous Hindi release, owing to the success of Pushpa’s performance in the Hindi market.
Bheemla Nayak’s Hindi release is being considered a major risk considering that Pawan Kalyan’s previous attempt at a Hindi release, Sardaar Gabbar Singh, didn’t perform well at the Hindi box office. It went rather unnoticed in fact. As a result, experts feel that if Bheemla Nayak fails to perform well in Hindi, then it could be a major blow to Pawan Kalyan’s reputation. It is now to be seen what will happen in the end.
