Tollywood has been fearless even during the tough times brought upon by the coronavirus pandemic, by being the first film industry in the country to brave releasing movies in theatres, and seeing successful results as well. The same thing happened after both the waves and while things started out a little bleakly after the second wave, things seemed to turn favourably after the release of Akhanda, Pushpa and Shyam Singha Roy.
Things seemed to be a little shaken after that, with the release of RRR and Radhe Shyam postponed, due to the increasing number of coronavirus cases in the month of January. No one came forward to release their films, with the exception of a few, low budget films. Now, Pawan Kalyan’s Bheemla Nayak has been the first major release after the omicron scare.
Bheemla Nayak has not only opened to a good response but is also generating a good revenue at the box office, surpassing the first day collections of Pushpa. All in all, it is being said that Bheemla Nayak’s release and performance is a great promise for Tollywood in the days to come.
