Koratala Siva, the director of Bharat Ane Nenu, the latest offering of Mahesh Babu is all confident about the movie and wants the message to stay with audience for a longer time. Their previous movie, ‘Srimanthudu’ made a huge impact on audiences and even on Mahesh Babu, who decided to adopt few villages and do the needful to improve the living in those villages. So, can their second movie, Bharat Ane Nenu, also creste similar impact on audiences?
The director hopes so. He said, “For me every film is a learning curve. I am not in a hurry to make movies and make money. I want my movies to stay with the audience and then make money too. I discuss my scripts with my wife and her complete non-chalant way of judging a script helps me to understand where I am heading right and where I should check. I feel blessed to be able to find such success and I don’t take it for granted. Bharat Ane Nenu is highly important for me as it has a huge social message and that if can make a positive impact on audiences, that will be my film’s ultimate victory.”
He shared that he felt Mahesh Babu will reject the story as he doesn’t have any inclination towards politics. He said, “Mahesh laughed out loud, when I said his character is Chief Minister in the movie. He later heard the story and trusted my conviction. We did a single shot scene for 15 minutes with various camera angles as an assembly session scene in the movie. I cannot forget that day. I always learn from my early movies and try to correct those mistakes in next film. I think Bharat Ane Nenu, conveys the social message and all commercial elements in good balance.” Bharat Ane Nenu is releasing on 20th April.
