Before Akhanda 2, this is Balakrishna and Boyapati’s target?

Director Boyapati Srinu faced the biggest disaster of his career with Vinaya Vidheya Rama. He more than made up for that disaster, with last year’s Akhanda, which also marked the first blockbuster for Balakrishna after a long time. The duo once again proved their magic with Akhanda, after their previous success Simha and Legend. Akhanda turned out to be so huge that director Boyapati even announced a sequel for the film.

Before Akhanda 2 can begin though, Boyapati and Balakrishna are set to do another film, which is going to be a political drama. This would make it the second political drama for the duo, after Legend. Legend had heavy political undertones, as it was released ahead of the 2014 elections. Now, it is being said that this political drama is being aimed to be released ahead of the 2024 elections, with higher political undertones.

The shooting for this movie is expected to begin in 2023 after Balakrishna is done with his current commitments. The actor is currently shooting for director Gopichand Malineni’s film.
