Beast overtakes Radhe Shyam by a huge margin

Until recently, it was young rebel star Prabhas’s recently released film, Radhe Shyam, that held the record for the most viewed South Indian trailer, with 23.20M views. Now, the trailer of Vijay’s film Beast, which was released today, overtook Radhe Shyam to become the most viewed trailer in South India.

Beast has a total number of 29.08M views, making it the most viewed trailer by a large margin. Acharya is currently in position number three, with 21.86M views, and it is to be seen whether the trailer of Acharya will be able to cross Beast trailer.

On the other hand, Beast is directed by Nelson Dileep Kumar, and features Pooja Hegde as its leading lady, while Anirudh Ravichander scored the music for the film. While the film managed to get good openings in Tamil Nadu, the film hasn’t been receiving good reviews, and the collections are expected to dip, with KGF 2 all set to be released tomorrow.
