Bangarraju: Bigg Boss beauty joins the team

Bangarraju, a spin-off to Nagarjuna’s 2016 Sankranthi blockbuster Soggade Chinni Nayana is in news for the past few years. The film was supposed to go on the floors from earlier this year itself but has been kept on hold due to various reasons.

A couple of weeks ago, news came out that the film will go on the floors from August third week. Now, the latest update is that Bigg Boss fame Monal Gajjar has been roped for the role of Rambha in the movie. Reportedly, a 30-minute fantasy episode is planned in heaven and Monal makes an entry in the same episode. Reports also suggest that along with a couple of scenes, a song is also being planned on Monal Gajjar and Nagarjuna.

Along with Nagarjuna, the film also stars his son Naga Chaitanya in a crucial role. Young beauty Krithi Shetty will be seen as the pair opposite Chay. Ramya Krishna, who did Nag’s wife role in the first installment will be doing the same character in Bangarraju also. Kalyan Krishna, who directed Soggade Chinni Nayana will be helming the sequel also. While Nag’s Annapurna Studios banner will be producing Bangarraju, Anup Rubens will be scoring music.
