Band Melam OTT Rights Bagged By ZEE5

ZEE5 has acquired the digital streaming rights for Band Melam starring Harsh Roshan and Sridevi.

Directed by Sathish Javvaji and produced by Kona Film Corporation, the film released on big screens today and will stream on ZEE5 after its theatrical run.

The film opened with decent buzz but received a mixed response. Its routine story and weak emotional depth failed to impress many viewers.

However Harsh Roshan’s energetic performance and Sridevi’s natural acting were appreciated. The Telangana backdrop and folk songs added some freshness.

Despite its flaws, Band Melam may find a better response on OTT platforms.
