BalaKrishna to wait for Amitabh Bachchan

Nandamuri Balakrishna is known for being impulsive and yet times adamant on his decisions. For this very reason he suffered with many bad films in his long career of 43 years but never did he express any regret for being himself. He always accepted his decisions that went wrong on film front and tried to choose better with each film. Him being an actor who loves to portray different characters and satisfy his fans at the same time, tried to maintain the commercial angle in his films with blockbuster entertainment along with some meaty characters. At times his choices like Legend, Simha and Lakshmi Narasimha worked while he suffered many bad films like Okka Mogadu, Parama Veera Chakra, Allari Pidugu, Palanati Brahmanaidu, Veerabhadra, Lion too.

But he continues to surprise with his choices , while many thought he would go for a safe bet by choosing to do a movie like Legend or Simha with the director of the films, Boyapati Srinu as his 100th film, he chose to star in a historical film based on the story of a warrior King who ruled India from Telugu origin, Gautamiputra Satakarni. The director of the film, Krrish Jagarlamudi is not known for being a commercially successful director too. Well, the movie is all ready to hit the screens on 12th January 2017 for Sankranthi. The next movie of Balakrishna is already announced to be Raithu in the direction of Krishnavamsi. This is first time the senior director is collaborating with Balakrishna in 22 years of his career.

The movie is said to be the story of a farmer set in ruler Andhra Pradesh suffering from crisis in keeping his occupation at a smooth sail despite hazards created by nature and man made colossal disasters. It is all about the plight of a farmer explaining his journey through years. The story has a very important character and the team approached Legend Amitabh Bachchan on the sets of Sarkar 3 for the part. The great man agreed and allotted 17 dates for the movie. The latest development is that Amitabh is busy till June 2017 and the team wanted to start the movie early. While Krishna Vamsi is ok to go for next best choice Balakrishna wants to work with the legendary actor and believes only he can do justice. So he wants the shoot to start in second half of 2017 when Amitabh is available.
