RAW Chief recently slammed Salman Khan’s blockbuster movie Bajrangi Bhaijaan, saying Bollywood is trying to imitate James Bond.
Bollywood action films are frequently compared to Hollywood productions. Pathan, starring Shah Rukh Khan, is a current example of the same; many other important action Hollywood films and computer games were likened to its action sequences. In response, a RAW Chief recently discussed how Bollywood is attempting to produce unrealistic James Bond films. He voiced his thoughts on the “exaggerated” plotline in Salman Khan’s blockbuster Bajrangi Bhaijaan.
Even while patriotism is frequently added as an extra layer to Bollywood action films, the formula has become very similar. Intense background music has evolved into a formula for a successful masala film when it comes to evoking a sense of patriotism. However, in a recent interview, a RAW official spoke candidly about it.
In an interaction, RAW Chief Vikram Sood about his thoughts on recent Bollywood flicks. The RAW Chief expressed his thoughts on Bajrangi Bhaijaan, saying that “Pathaan & Tiger have not got the art of the movie.” He said, “This fellow Salman Khan was going under a tunnel into Pakistan to deliver a girl who had got lost, but whatever. I mean kya yaar thoda exaggerated hai na. You need to have entertainment which is fun and realistic,” said the RAW chief about the Salman Khan starrer movie.
Later on in the debate, a top RAW actor was brought in to portray a persona that reflected the genuine nature of espionage. He listed Manoj Bajpai, Pankaj Tripathi, Irrfan Khan, Anupam Kher, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, and Pankaj Siddiqui in no particular order.
