There have been plans for a TV series inspired by the “Baahubali” films by SS Rajamouli that have been up and coming for quite some time. Originally, there were talks of a live-action adaptation of Anand Neelakanta’s book, “The Rise Of Sivagami,” titled “Baahubali: The show,” Before the Beginning,” began, however, Netflix subsequently stopped the show after shooting few of the episodes.
Now, there’s a big update: Instead of the live-action version, the creators worked on an animated series called “Baahubali: Crown Of Blood” which will be streamed on Disney+Hotstar. SS Rajamouli himself has been reported to have mentioned that the trailer would be launched sometime later in the month of May on the very popular platform.
Although this development is great for enthusiasts who’ve expected more from the Baahubali world since the first movie, others may not be too happy that it isn’t a live-action sequel. The switch to animation may be disorienting up to the fans who are used to the epic screenplay and high-grade quality of the live-action films.
Despite this, it serves as a chance for the creators to experiment with new storytelling methods and gain access to a broader audience with the help of a cartoon. Whether the fans prefer old or new visual style, they will definitely have an immersive time in the world of Baahubali.
