To mark ten glorious years of Baahubali, the makers have re-released both parts as one unified film titled Baahubali: The Epic. But this isn’t just a re-release; it’s a refreshed cinematic experience that blends both movies seamlessly while adding a few new scenes.
From the opening titles, it feels like a brand-new experience. The Baahubali 2 title theme and MM Keeravani’s majestic background score set an epic tone. Director S.S. Rajamouli has reworked the screenplay smartly, trimming slow portions and using effective voiceovers to keep the pace tight. The Shivudu and Avantika love track is now shortened to a few lines, and Sathyaraj’s narration adds smooth transitions throughout.

The battle scenes and a new sequence deliver pure goosebumps. Prabhas powerful screen presence, Anushka’s royal charm, and Rana’s intense performance still hold the same magic, while Nasser and Sathyaraj’s roles feel even more impactful now.
The remastered visuals by Annapurna Studios, along with fresh color grading, enhance the grandeur beautifully. Watching Prabhas in his prime brings back fond memories, while Anushka’s portrayal of Devasena reminds us of her strength and elegance.
Ultimately, Baahubali: The Epic is not just about new scenes, it’s a celebration of Indian cinema’s biggest phenomenon. It reminds us why Baahubali became a cultural milestone and still stands tall as one of India’s greatest cinematic achievements.
