Atlee Shifts Gears from Allu Arjun to Bollywood Star

Atlee, a talented popular Tamil filmmaker, has become a sought-after director in India. He achieved great success with ‘Jawan,’ presenting Shah Rukh Khan in a way that excited audiences across North India. Atlee has also delivered blockbusters with Vijay in Tamil cinema. There were strong rumors that he would collaborate with Telugu star Allu Arjun next.

However, this project on seems to have been shelved. Sources say that Geetha Arts, the production house, was not ready to pay Atlee’s high fee. Additionally, Allu Arjun’s lack of confirmation reportedly upset Atlee. As a result, Atlee approached another major star, Salman Khan, with a new idea. Salman, who is currently working on a film with AR Murugadoss, quickly agreed to Atlee’s proposal.

Sun Pictures has agreed to produce this new film and is willing to pay large sums to both Atlee and Salman Khan. This project, titled ‘Sikander,’ is set to start after Salman finishes his current movie with Murugadoss. The film is expected to release on Eid 2025. Salman Khan is relying on Tamil directors like Atlee to make a strong comeback in his career.
