The makers of senior hero Venkatesh’s rural drama, Narappa have announced that the film will hit the screens on May 14th. But the latest developments indicate that the film’s release is postponed due to the ongoing pandemic situation.
Even though the postponement news is an expected one, an official announcement regarding the same came out this morning from the production house. However, the makers remain tight-lipped on the new release date of the film.
Along with Venkatesh, Narappa also stars Priyamani, Prakash Raj among others in prominent roles. The film is an official remake of the acclaimed Tamil period revenge drama, Asuran.
This Sreekanth Addala directorial is being bankrolled by Suresh Babu in association with Kollywood filmmaker Kalaipuli S Thanu.
In lieu of the pandemic, #Narappa will not be releasing on May 14th . A new theatrical date will be announced once we overcome this unprecedented crisis.
