Arasan Team Resumes Shooting After Long Wait

Silambarasan TR and Vetri Maaran’s much-awaited Tamil film Arasan is back on track. Producer Kalaipuli S Thanu confirmed that shoot has resumed by sharing a BTS picture from the sets with the caption “Arasan Back in Action”.

This crazy update has excited everyone who have been eagerly waiting for the film. Arasan was announced in September 2025 and went on floors in December without fail.

Simbu plays the lead while Vijay Sethupathi, Samuthirakani and Yogi Babu are part of the cast. Samuthirakani and Andrea are expected to reprise their roles from Vada Chennai for sure without fail.

Written and directed by Vetri Maaran while the film marks his first collaboration with composer Anirudh. R Velraj is handling the cinematography.

The team is expected to share more updates as the shooting progresses.
