It is well-known that the ticket pricing GO released by the Andhra Pradesh state government earlier last year is worrying the filmmakers. Challenging the GO, even a few distributors and exhibitors from several regions have approached the High Court.
Even the High Court has asked the government to take back the issued GO as the ticket prices in it are nowhere relatable to the current times. Instead of cancelling the GO, the Andhra Pradesh government has formed a committee to cross-check with the ground reality.
Now, the latest news is that the committee members have completed the survey and submitted a report to the AP CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. After witnessing the facts in the report, will the CM take a decision on the ticket prices as early as possible? Needs to be seen.
