Anurag Kashyap Turns Cop For His Telugu Debut In Dacoit

Bollywood director Anurag Kashyap known for Dev D and Gangs of Wasseypur is now busy acting in Kollywood and Malayalam films.

His role as the villain in Vijay Sethupathi’s Maharaja received great praise. Now he is making his Telugu debut with Dacoit, starring Adivi Sesh and Mrunal Thakur.

The makers released his first-look poster revealing that he plays a police officer who is an Ayyappa devotee.

Anurag Kashyap shared that playing the role in both Telugu and Hindi is exciting yet challenging. Dacoit is directed by Shaneil Deo and produced by Supriya Yarlagadda with Annapurna Studios presenting it.
