Chiranjeevi and Venkatesh never acted together on screen until now. But director Anil Ravipudi made this combination happen in Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu.
In a recent interview Anil said the idea came from Chiranjeevi. Chiru suggested adding an exciting cameo if the script allowed it.
Anil then created a special extended role for Venkatesh and wrote it in a fun, energetic way. He said the climax featuring both stars will be a major highlight and will entertain audiences completely.
Though he felt nervous at first the bond and long friendship between Chiru and Venkatesh made the scenes look natural.
The film is produced by Sahu Garapati and Sushmita Konidela. The both songs have already increased the excitement for its Sankranti release. Nayanthara plays the female lead.
