Anil Kapoor Joins Shah Rukh Khan’s Action Film ‘King’

Anil Kapoor has joined the cast of King an upcoming action film starring Shah Rukh Khan. According to reports, Anil will play Shah Rukh’s handler in the film, where SRK takes on the role of an assassin.

The makers believe Anil perfectly fits the role, and he’s excited to work on this high-budget project.

The shoot begins around May 20 in Mumbai and will later move to Europe. The film is said to be designed for today’s audiences, featuring Shah Rukh in a raw and intense avatar, with stylish yet gritty action scenes.

King is also special as it marks Shah Rukh Khan’s first film with his daughter Suhana Khan who plays a key role.

Directed by Siddharth Anand and written by Sujoy Ghosh, the film also stars Abhishek Bachchan, Abhay Verma and Arshad Warsi, with a cameo by Deepika Padukone. The makers aim for a theatrical release between October and December 2026.
