Horror Comedies have not been the flavour of the season and many directors are trying their level best to attract the audience with their dose of comedy and horror. Now, Tapsee Pannu is also coming with a Horror Comedy, Anando Brahma but with a glaring difference from other movies in the genre. Director Mahi V. Raghava clarified that to the press and he talked about his movie. recently.
The director said, “ I worked as production executive for several big projects and understood how difficult it is to handle the production and budget issues. Slowly, I changed by interests to writing and direction. I worked as assistant and then tried to learn the craft and understand it properly. I think I have the confidence now, so I approached the producers and they accepted the story I pitched to them.” He continued, “ This is a complicated script. Normally, ghost scares people here ghosts are scared by people.”
“ It is an interesting premise and I thought I should explore it further. Why would a ghost be scared about humans and from that situation how can I generate humour has been my take off for this movie. I did what I can with the kind of ideas I had and Tapsee Pannu helped me a lot along with the other actors. We waited for her as I thought she would perfect for the role and when she had time, she worked two to three call-sheets to complete our film in-time and I will be thankful to her for that,” concluded the director. Anando Brahma is slated for a release on 18th of August!
