The pre-release event of Brahmastra took place in Hyderabad today, at which the film’s lead cast, Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt were present, along with the producer of the film, Karan Johar. Director SS Rajamouli, who is presenting the film in Telugu, was also present at the event, along with Nagarjuna and NTR, the latter of which was the chief guest of the event.
Alia Bhatt took the entire press by surprise when she erupted into a rendition of the Telugu version of the hit song, Kesariya, from the movie, Kumkumala, sung by Sid Sriram. She mixed up the Telugu and Hindi versions of the song, which turned out to be a pleasant surprise for everyone. She thanked Rajamouli for being their hero, in the sense that he is presenting the film in the South languages.
On the other hand, the film is directed by Ayan Mukherjee, and is all set to be released on September 9th. The advance bookings for Brahmastra are set to open tomorrow, with the film being available to be watched in Hindi as well.
