The 30-year-old actress acknowledged that she had “puffy skin” when she wakes up, so she uses an ice bath to treat the condition. She also thinks that the regimen has additional advantages.

I typically wake up really puffy, Alia Bhatt stated in a video for Vogue. Ice provides a number of advantages in addition to reducing puffiness. It maintains your skin smooth and tight, prevents acne marks, and overall improves your mood. I feel all pink and fresh and prepared to take on the day as the blood flows to my face right away.

She added: “The next step is my moisturizer. It’s everything my skin needs. I will take four to five pumps then after my moisturizer, I will go in with sunscreen.”

The actress went on to say that when she initially became a mother towards the end of last year, she noticed she had very little time to herself and started to find consolation in her skincare routine. She has nine-month-old Raha with husband Ranbir Kapoor.

“I recall right after giving birth, that time of your life is so dedicated to nurturing your baby, caring for your baby, and feeding your baby, I realised that my ritual, doing my skincare, and taking care of myself, was the only time I could have for myself in those months,” Alia Bhatt continued.
