Why did Alia Bhatt choose to create a film like Jigra? she reveals.
Alia Bhatt, an actress who just launched her production project “Jigra,” in which she would also appear as the titular character, says she became a producer to tell tales that arouse feelings and leave an impression.
In the beginning of 2019, Alia established her own production company, Eternal Sunshine Productions.
In 2020, she made her directorial debut with the movie “Darlings,” which also starred Vijay Varma and Shefali Shah in the major roles.
‘Jigra’ is Alia’s second production, and she stated: ‘I believe tales are everywhere, and stories are everything!’ In order to tell some of these stories—stories that stir the heart and make an impression—I switched to producing Eternal Sunshine.
The actress remarked: “Our first show, “Darlings,” received so much support that it was both thrilling and overwhelming. A little more than a year later, we are prepared to debut Jigra, a stirring tale of bravery, passion, and perseverance. I want to continuously support authentic, timeless, and gripping stories and collaborate with top-notch creative brains to bring them to life.
Vasan Bala is the director of “Jigra.”
The movie will be released on September 27 of the next year.
Producing the movie are Apoorva Mehta, Somen Mishra, Alia Bhatt, and Karan Johar. Other information about the movie is still a secret.
