Currently, Bollywood star Akshay Kumar is having three projects at the filming stage. While one of them is Selfiee, an official remake of the Malayalam film, Driving Licence, the other two are Oh My God 2 and Tamil hit, Soorarai Pottru remake.
A few weeks back Akshay Kumar himself revealed the news on his social media platforms that Selfiee will be hitting the screens on February 24th. Meanwhile, the latest news is that the makers of Selfiee planning to unveil the theatrical trailer of Selfiee today but postponed the plan in the last minute.
Reportedly, Akshay Kumar is not in India and his flight from London got delayed. The star is likely to land in Mumbai in the afternoon hours of January 19th. On the other hand, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is visiting today to Mumbai to address a rally at Bandra Kurla Complex. Later, he will be travelling to Andheri East to inaugurate two metro lines. Due to the same, the traffic restrictions will continue in the city for the entire day.
Considering the above two incidents, the makers of Selfiee postponed the film’s trailer launch event, say sources. Apart from Akshay Kumar, Selfiee also stars Emraan Hashmi in a key role. Selfiee also stars Nushrratt Bharuccha and Diana Penty. It is the official remake of the acclaimed Malayalam film, Driving License. Raj Mehta is the director for Selfiee.
