Akshay Kumar talks about religious beliefs

In order to clear up any confusion regarding his tolerance of religion, Akshay Kumar previously stated that he solely supports nationalism.

The idea of renaming India as Bharat has generated much discussion. Amitabh Bachchan is said to have tweeted in favour of the choice. For his part, Akshay Kumar then changed the name of his next movie to Mission Raniganj: The Great Bharat Rescue to express his support. But do you recall when the famous person finally spoke out against the religious conflicts and declared that he simply believed in being a nationalist?

Akshay has never stopped working on projects he believes in, despite all the criticism. There has always been some sort of takeaway for audiences, whether it was Laxmii with its initial title, “Laxmmi Bomb,” or OMG and its idea of s*x education.

Regarding his 2021 movie Sooryavanshi, he made a lot of noise with one of his phrases that said he doesn’t practise any religion but is simply Indian. In response, Akshay Kumar said, “I don’t believe in any religion. I only believe in being Indian and that is what the film also shows. The idea of being an Indian and not about being a Parsi or a Hindu or a Muslim, we haven’t looked at it on the basis of religion.”

In Sooryavanshi, Akshay Kumar made it clear that no religion was intended to be portrayed as “villainous.” “We make films which have negative and positive roles, I am just playing a character. In every film, there will be both good and bad characters; the audience is smart enough to understand what to take back from the film – the good or the bad,” he added.

Akshay’s only Canadian citizenship had caused quite a commotion in the meantime. On this Independence Day, he responded to all of the critics by providing documentation of his Indian citizenship.
