Akhanda First week report: Career best for Balayya

Nandamuri Balakrishna and director Boyapati Seenu’s hattrick film, Akhanda has been registering solid revenues at the worldwide box office. Released on December 2nd, the film has successfully completed one week run at the box office.

As per the trade reports, Akhanda has minted a whopping share of Rs 45 crore from twin states itself. Reportedly, the film’s first week worldwide share is Rs 54 crore. Sources also reveal that the film entered into the profits zone in Nizam, Ceded and Overseas areas in the first week itself and is expected to be a safe bet for other area distributors by this weekend. As the film’s pre-release business was done for Rs 54 crore, Akhanda has already reached the break-even status already. The film has already emerged as the career-best film for Balayya and we have to wait and see how much more the film will collect in the coming days.

Also starring Pragya Jaiswal as the female lead, Akhanda has Srikanth in a negative character. Thaman’s background is the backbone for the entire movie.
