Akhanda creating interesting records

Nandamuri Balakrishna’s Akhanda, which was released in December, directed by Boyapati Srinu, was released among huge expectations. A lot was expected from the film, as it marks the third collaboration between Balayya and Boyapati, after their previous blockbusters Simha and Legend. Upon its release, Akhanda surpassed all expectations and became the biggest hit in Balakrishna and Boyapati’s career.

The film became a roaring blockbuster, getting in good collections from everywhere, despite the pandemic and other issues. THe film is now creating new records, by continuing to run successfully in the theatres. Akhanda has competed 45 days in the theatres, which is a rare feat for any film to achieve these days, and continues to see house full boards in several areas.

On the other hand, director Boyapati Srinu announced at the thanks meet of Akhanda, that there would be a sequel to the movie. Akhanda is all set to make its OTT debut on January 21st, and will be streaming on Dsiney Hotstar.
