Akhanda creates a new record for Balakrishna

Balakrishna suffered several failures in the last couple of years and has finally scored a success this year, in the form of Akhanda, which turned out to be a massive success. The film turned out to be a major success for Balakrishna and Boyapati, who has himself been suffering due to a major disaster in the form of Vinaya Vidheya Rama.

Not only has Akhanda managed to bring in the highest number of crowds this year, post the reopenening of theatres after the second wave of the coronavirus pandemic, but has also managed to collect beyond $500,000 in the US, and has now entered the Rs. 50 Crores club, making it the first time for NBK. While Balayya scored good hits previously in his career as well, none were as highly successful as Akhanda.

On the other hand, Balayya is currently busy with his talk show ‘Unstoppable’, which is streaming on Aha, and is expected to begin shooting for his next film, under the direction of Gopichand Malineni.
