Balakrishna and Boyapati Srinu’s combination is always known for blockbuster films, and Akhanda 2 also carried high expectations. The film was initially planned for a December 5th release but was postponed due to financial issues. After clearing all hurdles, it was finally released on December 12th, with premieres on December 11th night.
The movie received mixed talk from the first show but opened well. Collections dropped sharply on day two, showed slight growth on day three, and fell by over 65 percent on day four.

The film still needs Rs. 49.35 crore share, and steady weekday collections with a strong second weekend are crucial.
