Ajith Kumar recently spoke about the tragic Karur stampede that occurred during Vijay’s political rally in September.
He said that no one person should be blamed for the tragedy, adding, “That individual alone is not responsible, we all are, and even the media has a part to play”.
Speaking to a reporter, Ajith said society has become too obsessed with massive gatherings around film stars. He urged fans to show their love responsibly, without risking safety.
“We work hard, stay away from family, and go through struggles for fans love, but we don’t wish for such incidents”, he said.
The stampede began when fans rushed toward the stage barricades to see Vijay.
