Ahaan Panday’s Journey With YRF Began With A No

YRF’s Casting Director Shanoo Sharma recently shared an interesting story about Ahaan Panday in an interview.

She revealed that she first approached Ahaan when he was just 19 years old, but he turned down the opportunity at that time for a rather funny reason.

Shanoo said, “When I saw Ahaan online doing something quirky, I found him interesting and wanted to meet him. But he refused because he thought we’d reject him for being tanned and not fitting the typical hero look”. She laughed, saying he looked more like a 15 year old back then.

Eventually they met, and Shanoo instantly felt that they’d work together. Over the years, Ahaan became like family at YRF, attending workshops, learning and always eager to improve. His passion for YRF was clear, he’d say, ‘I’ll come here every day!’

Now, with Saiyaara doing great at the box office, Shanoo calls the audience’s love for the film and Ahaan ‘magical’.
