Agadha Gets Massive US Screen Expansion

M. S. Raju’s supernatural thriller Agadha is creating buzz ahead of its worldwide theatrical release on August 14. The film attracted strong interest from distributors after its intriguing trailer.

However director M. S. Raju has chosen to self-release it through Geetha Arts and Annapurna Studios. In the US, Moksha Movies will distribute the film.

It was initially planned for 14 screens, but the count reportedly increased to 140 after the distributor watched it.

Geetha Arts and Annapurna Studios will handle the Telugu states, while V.K. Films will distribute it in Karnataka and ‘S’ Pictures in Tamil Nadu.

Starring Kamakshi Bhaskarla and Shravan Reddy, Agadha features supernatural elements, large-scale CGI and a unique reverse-chronological narrative. Written and directed by M. S. Raju, the film is produced by Kasi Visalakshi Balusu.
