After Samantha Chaitanya to debut on OTT?

OTT platforms are growing in popularity and each one is looking to offer big amounts to stars for their direct debuts. As the stars are unable to complete shootings due to the pandemic and movie theaters might face troubles even after pandemic is over to completely recover, there is a change in thought process of stars.

They are willing to debut on OTT platforms in web-series or mini series or web movie. We heard that Venkatesh, Nagarjuna and Chiranjeevi did show interest in playing different roles on OTT platforms provided they trust the script and the director.

Samantha already completed Family Man season 2 with Raj and DK as directors. Amazon Prime Video will announce the release date of the season very soon, say sources. Now, we hear that Amazon Prime Video people have started negotiations with Naga Chaitanya for his web series debut.

The web series will be directed by Vikram Kumar after Thank You movie and he will complete it in 40-50 days, say sources. The series will be an out and out thriller. If it gets materialized, then we might get to see Chaitanya in grey character say sources. Right now, Naga Chaitanya is hearing to scripts and has made it a point that he will choose variety films that can work on OTT and in Theaters, say close sources.
