Aditya Hasan Says Epic Is More Than A Love Story

Anand Devarakonda and Vaishnavi Chaitanya play the leads in Epic, directed by Aditya Hasan. This film releases tomorrow and premieres are tonight.

Aditya revealed that the story is inspired by real life incidents and his pure experiences.

The trailer openly discusses much sensitive topics like sex, intimacy and post-intimacy conversations between couples. He knew these scenes could shock some viewers but wanted them to understand the film’s tone.

However he clarified that the movie is not entirely about these subjects. Aditya said only 20 percent of the film is based on his own life while the rest comes from much different experiences he witnessed.
