Adirindhi poses litmus test for Sharath Marar!

Mersal, has become a huge grosser in Tamil. Doubling to Vijay’s star power the movie also got a great publicity with controversies surrounding it post release. The movie became a must watch for Tamil audience all over the world and also, hit combination of Atlee and Thalapathy worked their magic for festival period big time. The movie collected almost 150 crores gross in the first week and it is set to reach 200 crores too in the long run.

Sharath Marar, the producer of movies like Katamarayudu, Sardar Gabbar Singh has acquired the Telugu rights of the movie and he already dubbed the movie as Adirindhi and audio has been released as well. Reports suggested that the movie has been applied for a censor in Chennai a little late than expected and the producers are now worried if the movie will release for 27th date or not.

As per the reports coming in, the movie will open on Friday and booking has been opened in several centres too. As the movie became a huge hit for Thalapathy in Tamil, can it be his second hit in Telugu after Thuppakki. He has been looking to make an impact in Telugu as well but he hasn’t been able to do so for some or the other reason. We have to wait and see, will Adirindi became a hit for him or will the same old story repeat. Also, with piracy and Tamil film releasing in many areas, it will be an uphill task!
