Due to health complications, star heroine Samantha is away from the camera for the past few months. In Telugu, her project titled, Kushi starrer Vijay Deverakonda in the lead role is also temporarily kept on hold. Shiva Nirvana is the film’s director.
Post the solid applause for her acting in Amazon Prime’s The Family Man season 2, Samantha shifted her focus to Bollywood and already signed a few projects. One among them is a web series with Bollywood star Varun Dhawan. Said to be an official remake of the Russo Brothers’ American show, Citadel, the project being directed by director duo Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK.
Meanwhile, the latest we hear is that Samantha who is slowly recovering from health issues landing in Mumbai to participate in the shooting for Citadel. Reportedly, she will be shooting for the project for the next second weeks. Already news came out that this Amazon Prime original series will happen in the 90s time period and both Samantha and Varun Dhawan will be appearing in a new look.
