Acharya: After TS, the AP government also hikes ticket price

Yesterday, the Telangana government gave permission for a one-week ticket hike for Megastar Chiranjeevi and Ram Charan’s upcoming social drama, Acharya. As per the official GO, the rates for single screens are going to be Rs 210 and the multiplexes will see a hike up to Rs 354( including GST) across the state.

Meanwhile, this morning an official announcement came out that the Andhra Pradesh government also agreed to hike the ticket prices up to Rs 50 for Acharya. The ticket hike GO will be in existence for ten days in Andhra and Rayalaseema regions.

Also starring Pooja Hegde as the female lead opposite Charan, Acharya is being directed by Koratala Siva. The film is slated to hit the screens on April 29th.
