Aamir Khan is all set to return to the big screen with his new film Sitaare Zameen Par, releasing on June 20, 2025.
Directed by RS Prasanna, the movie is seen as a spiritual sequel to Taare Zameen Par and will once again explore the theme of disability, but with a fresh and emotional storyline filled with humor and heart.
As per reports, the film’s editing is done, and Aamir is now busy planning its promotions. He chose the June 20 release date for a clear run at the box office, skipping the earlier considered May 30 slot.
The trailer is expected to drop in May and may be attached to Raid 2 in theaters, to reach a wide audience. Aamir has carefully planned the marketing strategy but might tweak things last-minute, as he often does.
Genelia Deshmukh also returns to mainstream films with this project, making her first on-screen appearance with Aamir.
