Aamir Khan’s Film Wins Praise From President Murmu

Aamir Khan recently hosted a special screening of his film Sitaare Zameen Par at Rashtrapati Bhavan for the President of India, Droupadi Murmu.

The screening followed the film’s strong success and wide appreciation for its emotional storytelling and great message.

After the event Murmu shared a photo with Aamir on social media writing “Acclaimed filmmaker and actor Shri Aamir Khan called on President Droupadi Murmu at Rashtrapati Bhavan” which quickly gained attention.

Sitaare Zameen Par is considered an honest sequel to Taare Zameen Par and continues his tradition of making films that raise awareness on social issues.

Directed by R.S. Prasanna the movie features Aamir and Genelia in lead roles along with ten talented newcomers.

The film was released on June 20th and has become a meaningful success.
