Aamir Khan has officially finished shooting for his upcoming film “Sitaare Zameen Par”. The final scenes were filmed on Sunday at Mumbai’s Film City, wrapping up the entire production. Directed by RS Prasanna, the movie has now entered the post production stage.
The film set for release in the summer of 2025 is said to be a spiritual successor to “Taare Zameen Par”.
While the earlier movie focused on a dyslexic child, “Sitaare Zameen Par” tells an inspiring story about sports and community. It is an official adaptation of the Spanish sports comedy “Campeones”.
Aamir Khan plays a key role alongside Genelia Deshmukh. Known for his perfectionist style Aamir is paying close attention to every detail to ensure the film’s quality.
As part of the process, focus group screenings will begin in February 2025.
