A.R. Rahman Onboard for Ramayana Movie

As A.R. Rahman prepares to write the soundtrack for a Big Bollywood version of the classic Ramayana, his fans are in for a treat. Sai Pallavi as Sita, Yash as the evil Ravana, and Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Rama comprise the impressive ensemble cast. Additionally, Hans Zimmer, a legendary musician from Hollywood, will collaborate with Rahman as a co-musician, making his official debut in the Indian film industry.

The first section of the trilogy—which will consist of three separate parts is now under production. Ranbir Kapoor, fresh off the success of “Animal,” aims to solidify his status as a Pan India star through this venture. Meanwhile, A.R. Rahman, known for his diverse portfolio, continues to attach himself to intriguing projects.

He recently composed for the blockbuster “The Goat Life/Aadu Jeevitham” and has officially joined the team of “RC16.” Directed by Buchi Babu Sana of “Uppena” fame, “RC16” stars Ram Charan and Janhvi Kapoor in lead roles. Rahman’s involvement in these high-profile projects adds to the anticipation surrounding their releases, promising audiences a cinematic experience enriched by his musical brilliance.
