Tollywood is one industry that majorly depends on its commercial films, and is one of the most commercial film industries in the country. Actors are usually showed in a way that they would appeal to their fans, and heroines don’t really have much to do.
In recent times though, things have been changing for the better in Tollywood. Newer subjects are seeing the light of the day, and audiences are embracing fresh concepts like never before. In a first of its kind attempt, Lady Superstar Anushka Shetty is pairing up with Naveen Polishetty for an interesting film, that focuses on the love story between a 20 something man, and a 30 something woman.
Sources say that this film is tentatively titled ‘Ms. Shetty and Mr. Polishetty’, and is being directed by Mahesh of Ra Ra Krishnayya. UV Creations is bankrolling the project, and the shooting is expected to begin once the situations are more stable in the country, and once Anushka is back from the USA. Naveen Polishetty recently scored a massive blockbuster in the form of Jaathiratnalu, and the actor is in huge demand right now. It will be highly interesting to see him share screen space with Anushka.
