3 BHK, starring Siddharth and Sarath Kumar, released on July 4th and received decent talk on day one. The film connected well with family and youth audiences, though it felt a bit slow emotionally. Despite positive word of mouth, it couldn’t fully convert into strong collections.
Here’s a quick look at the first weekend box office report:
| Nizam | 0.44 cr |
| Ceded | 0.07 cr |
| Andhra (Total) | 0.36 cr |
| AP + Telangana (Total) | 0.87 cr (share) |
3 BHK did a theatrical business of Rs. 2.2 crore and needs Rs. 2.5 crore share to break even. By the end of the first weekend, it earned only Rs. 0.87 crore share and Rs. 1.47 crore gross.
Despite positive talk and improved bookings from day two, collections didn’t see major growth. The same trend continued in Tamil too. It remains to be seen if the film picks up during weekdays.
