Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara completes 12 years, Farhan Akhtar raises toasts to friendship

With a touching Instagram tribute, Farhan Akhtar commemorates Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara’s 12th anniversary and reflects on the movie’s significance. The legendary film is showered with affection and adoration by fans.

The popular movie Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara, directed by Zoya Akhtar, was first released 12 years ago today. Farhan Akhtar, Abhay Deol, and Hrithik Roshan all appeared in it. The 2011 picture, which brilliantly captured love, camaraderie, and the joy of living, quickly became a cult favourite.

To mark the occasion, Farhan Akhtar sent a message on Instagram thanking the cast and crew for making a film that is still remembered and loved by viewers.

He posted a fondly remembered video to his Instagram page. The reel includes numerous pictures and little video segments, along with the music of the well-known song Sooraj Ki Baahon Mein. The reel, which is attributed to Excel Entertainment, transports viewers back in time by bringing to mind the film’s notable scenes and core ideas.

His caption read, “On this special day, we raise a toast to 12 years of Zindagi Na Milegi Dobaara! Thank you to the remarkable cast and crew for gifting us a film that celebrated love, friendship, and the zest for life.”

The three main characters of the buddy road comedy-drama Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara (ZNMD), which was directed by Zoya Akhtar in 2011, are Kabir, Imran, and Arjun. They start a three-week journey by car to Spain that is full with adventurous activities and self-discovery. Due to job commitments, Arjun initially declines to go on the trip, while Imran discreetly looks for his biological father. The companions’ voyage across the Costa Brava, Seville, and Pamplona forces them to deal with old issues and forges new relationships. The movie explores friendship, personal development, and embracing life’s experiences as themes.

The much awaited movie Jee Le Zaraa, starring Priyanka Chopra, Katrina Kaif, and Alia Bhatt, will be directed by Farhan Akhtar. There has been no official confirmation of Priyanka’s decision to resign from the project, although reports indicate that she did so because of her other obligations.
