Zeenat Aman has named famous parts she would have loved to portray, including Mughal-E-Azam and The Devil Wears Prada with Meryl Streep.
Veteran performer Zeenat Aman has outlined some of the great parts she would have loved to play, including Rosie in “Guide,” Jessica Rabbit from “Who Framed Roger Rabbit,” Moira Rose from “Schitt’s Creek,” and Anarkali from “Mughal-E-Azam,” among many others.
Zeenat posted images from her most recent session on Instagram. She claimed that actress Audrey Hepburn had an influence on her photographs.
Zeenat Aman took to the caption and wrote: “How do you like this look? I find it quite Hepburn inspired! As a model and actor, creative collaborations are so interesting because you get to see yourself as others see you. It also involves trust and patience.” She then went on to list roles she would’ve loved to play.
Zeenat Aman added: “Speaking of Hepburn has me thinking about all the talented actors whose work I’ve enjoyed over the years. Here’s a list of iconic roles I would have loved to play
1. Jennifer Coolidge’s dotty perfection as Tanya McQuoid in White Lotus. 2. Waheeda Rehman’s always-graceful performance as Rosie in Guide. 3. Anarkali, who Madhubala portrays to perfection in Mughal-e-Azam. 4. Cesira, who Sophia Loren portrays so unflinchingly in the movie Two Women. 5. Meryl Streep’s chilly nonchalance as Miranda Priestly in The Devil Wears Prada.
In her remark, Zeenat Aman named a few noteworthy roles and added, “6. Shashi Godbole in English Vinglish, performed expertly by Sridevi. 7. Jessica Rabbit, spoken seductively by Kathleen Turner in Who Framed Roger Rabbit. 8. Various performers over the years have voiced Miss Piggy in The Muppets. 9. By popular demand and for my personal entertainment, the wonderful Catherine O’Hara as Moira Rose from Schitt’s Creek.
Zeenat Aman remarked, “I just have to appreciate the acting prowess of all these powerful women. I can’t help but admire these characters. They provided us with personalities who had enduring appeal. Who are some of the female actors and TV characters who have inspired you? Don’t be shy to be innovative with your suggestions!”
